Eat grilled or boiled meat such as steak and chicken instead of of fried meat. Add red pepper to make it taste even better.

{Give up the soda. If you have a carbonated drink or two every day you are adding unnecessary calories. If you find it hard to stop completely, cut back at first and drink water instead|Stop imbibing soda. Those are empty calories so cut back and substitute water. (Note that the average person adds 90,000 calories a year from drinking juice or soda. WOW! That’s a great tip.)

Don’t purchase junk food. Shop from a list. If you don’t have junk food at home you won’t eat it.

Treat yourself at least once a week to the foods you truly like. That will help you avert binging when you experience cravings. When you treat, don’t go nuts.

Trick yourself into being contented with less by using a smaller plate. (Not only are you tricking yourself, even if the trick doesn’t work it’s easier to stop eating when the plate is finished and there’s no more food available.)

Rob a bank and get caught. They serve a balanced diet in prison. (Um, no. That’s a stupid idea.)

A way to assure you bring in more weight is to try all those quick diets then ping-pong back the other way when they’re done. Don’t try them.

Do physical exercise many times a day. If you’re watching television, do some push ups or crunches. (That’s a great idea to increase caloric burn.)

The three most major factors in healthy diet are portion control, portion control and portion control. (Portion control is a big part of a healthy diet. Most restaurants and even people at home serve too much food.)

Get really sick. After a week or two in the hospital I had lost Twenty-Five pounds. (Another bad idea. It’s best to stick to ways to lose weight while lstaying healthy. After all, the ultimate goal is improved health.)

Stick to something long enough to repeat it a few times, then you can coast. (It’s said that if we repeat something 21 times it becomes a habit. Sometimes the number is different, but the idea is the same. Will power is only needed to repeat something enough times for it to {become|turn into a habit.)

Eat slower. The body doesn’t feel full as fast as you can eat, so people tend to eat beyond full.
